Concern Worldwide (Haiti) is looking for a consultant for Contextual Analysis

Consultant Requirements The Consultant will lead the overall process of the Contextual Analysis, as mentioned above, and will be responsible for producing the Contextual Analysis Report for the two identified locations. The following competencies are essential for the consultant :

 Academic background and sound working experiences in the Haiti context with the understanding of livelihoods, food systems and nutrition ; disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation ; urban programming ; and graduation and resilience programming.  Knowledge and understanding of the policy dynamics of Haiti.  Proven experience in designing systems analysis framework, PCVA, and questionnaires for primary data collection.  Understanding of Concern’s policy and program (desirable).  Excellent analytical and report writing skills in English and French.

The consultant will be expected to liaise closely with the Head Office Technical Advisers supporting the process and with the Country Director. The time frame anticipated for the consultants engagement is between 4 - 6 weeks for component one and between 6 – 8 weeks for component two.

Selection Process Concern invites bids from individuals or companies, with the experience and skills described in the ToR. Bids should include, at the very minimum : - A cover letter introducing the consultant(s) and how the skills and competencies described above are met, with concrete examples. - A 1-page budget covering all major costs for the consultancy - Maximum 2-page CV. - One example of a previous assessment (relevant to this assessment).
